Cafe on the SquareTM opened in 2003 in the
spot of the long time Corner Cafe in Seward, Nebraska. Our building was originally built in 1890 and housed the local bank.
The owners prior to us operated the Corner Cafe in that location since the 1950's. Upon purchasing the building,
we decided to restore as much of it back to its original condition as possible.
The restaurant showcases an early Americana atmosphere
with detailed woodwork, tin ceilings, exposed brick walls, stained glass and leaded windows, and a plethora of unique-to-the-era
décor. Cafe on the SquareTM features many homestyle foods, specialty entrees, salads, sandwiches, soups and desserts.
We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Monday thru
Saturday, and open for Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday.

8am-2pm and 5pm-8pm
Friday and Saturday
7am-2pm and 5pm-9pm
Sunday
9am-1:30pm
